Kate is a self-taught Australian artist working across acrylic and resin to create textural, abstract works inspired by both natural and urban environments. Her practice explores colour, surface and the notion of escapism, inviting moments of pause beyond everyday life.

Balancing controlled brushwork with expressive palette knife movement, her acrylic pieces hold a dynamic tension between intention and spontaneity. Resin, by contrast, is approached intuitively, fluid and unpredictable, reflecting themes of harmony and surrender.

Originally trained in graphic design, Kate ultimately turned to painting in pursuit of greater creative freedom and a more personal artistic voice.
