Helen Joynson is a Melbourne-based abstract artist whose work is guided by an unconventional source - Spirit. After an unexpected introduction to automatic drawing, Helen spent 18 months developing her practice under the guidance of what she describes as an Art Guide, eventually working independently to create the bold, colour-saturated works she is known for today.

Her designs are rooted in the belief that colour nourishes the spirit as directly as food nourishes the body, a philosophy that gives her work its distinctive emotional warmth and balance. Each piece is crafted to shift the energy of a space, promoting harmony and calm.

Helen's original works are held in private collections, hospitals, medical centres and universities across Australia, as well as in the US and Canada. Her reproduction art is distributed globally.
