Diane Boone is a contemporary artist whose work is guided by intuition, memory, dreams, and the natural world. Rather than focusing on analysis or strict representation, she creates richly detailed, evocative pieces that aim to capture emotions more than images. “I don’t merely capture an image,” Boone explains. “I strive to capture a feeling … an emotion. I want my art to speak to you and make you smile.”

Colour and texture play a central role in her practice, which she describes as a spontaneous dance of refinement and rebellion. Inspired by the inherent beauty of nature and the layered cycles within it, her work reflects both connectivity and the solitude of creation.

An established artist and world traveler, Boone maintains her studio in Venice, Florida, while drawing inspiration from her travels across the globe. She regularly exhibits in galleries and collaborates with collectors and interior designers throughout the United States. Her work will also be featured on Season Four of Bargain Mansions with Tamara Day, airing on the Magnolia Home Network.

Boone studied at the University of Missouri and the Kansas City Art Institute, with additional training in pastel, encaustic, photography, and mixed media.
